Boasting a unique partnership with Jacuzzi Hot Tubs and Sundance Spas, and an impressive Scottsdale showroom featuring five fully-furnished backyards, Imagine Backyard Living chose Monomyth to help them introduce their clients to the world of backyard living.
IBL approached us with nothing but a name, and we set to work crafting them a full identity and brand direction, an in-depth and responsive web presence, and a host of promotional materials – including vehicle wraps, online advertisements and more.
As a concept store that blurs the lines between the pool and home goods industries, Imagine Backyard Living presented distinctive challenges. Monomyth also had to take into consideration both partner brands (Jacuzzi and Sundance) when selecting the best path for IBL. The identity needed to be strong enough to stand on its own, soft enough to evoke the comforts of home, and be able to coexist with both partner brands.
Our objective was to build an engaging site that embodied the vibrance and energy of backyard life. As hot tubs are just a fraction of what IBL offers, the site had to showcase a wide breadth of products without coming across as a stale retail site. To accomodate, we used bold hits of color, bright full screen imagery and easy-to-digest content arrangements.
